Web Design in
San Marcos.
Hand-coded websites for San Marcos businesses, built fifteen minutes up I-35 in Kyle. One flat fee of $800, you own the code, and there are no monthly platform fees ever.
Fifteen Minutes
Up the Interstate
OTM is based in Kyle, which puts San Marcos closer to my desk than most of Austin. Same county, same corridor, same growth.
That matters less than people expect for the actual work, since websites get built remotely and most of my clients and I never need to be in the same room. It matters more than people expect for everything around the work: I know the corridor, I know what the growth along I-35 has done to the trades here, and when a San Marcos business wants to sit down in person, that is a short drive rather than a project.
San Marcos is also a genuinely distinct market. Between Texas State, the river, the outlets, and the residential growth pushing out from the square, the customer base here is a mix almost no other town in Hays County has. A restaurant near campus and a foundation contractor working new subdivisions have almost nothing in common, and their websites should not look like they came out of the same template.
San Marcos Businesses
Getting Looked Up
The common thread is not the industry, it is whether customers check you out before deciding.
- Contractors and Home Services The residential growth along the corridor keeps trades busy, and most of that work still arrives by referral. A homeowner given your name looks you up before calling, and what they find in thirty seconds decides whether the call happens. Real job photos and a quote form that asks about the project do more here than any amount of design polish.
- Auto Shops and Mechanics People search for a shop while their car is making a noise, on a phone, in a parking lot. Hours, phone number, and the makes you work on need to be visible instantly, and a form that captures year, make, model, and symptom saves your service writer a call on every single lead.
- Restaurants, Bars, and Campus-Facing Businesses A student audience searches almost entirely on phones and abandons slow sites without a second thought. Fast pages and clear hours matter more than clever layouts. A hand-coded site loads in about a second against three or four for a typical template build.
- Outdoor, River, and Seasonal Businesses Tubing, rentals, guides, event services. Visitors planning a trip are researching from out of town, often weeks ahead, and they are comparing options they have no personal knowledge of. The site is doing the entire job of establishing that you are real and worth booking.
- Professional and Local Services Salons, clinics, trainers, consultants, tradespeople of every kind. If a customer would reasonably search your name before their first appointment, the website is the thing answering them.
$800, One Time,
and You Own It
Same price in San Marcos as everywhere else. Half to start, half when the finished files are handed over.
Every site is written from scratch in real HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No templates and no drag-and-drop builders, which is why these load in about a second on a phone and why the code is clean enough for both Google and AI assistants to read accurately.
When the project is done the actual files are yours. You host them free on Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages, in an account set up in your name, and you can move them anywhere or hand them to any developer at any time. There is no subscription to cancel because there never was one, and if you never speak to me again the site keeps running.
Included: the custom build, up to three additional pages, a request form built around what your business actually needs to collect, mobile responsiveness, search-ready structure, a 30-day edit window after delivery, and a lifetime warranty on any defect in the code I wrote. Bilingual English and Spanish is available at no extra cost when it fits the business.
Before you pay anything, I will build you a free demo. A real working preview of what your San Marcos business's website could look like, not a mockup or a slide deck.
If you like it, we talk. If you do not, no hard feelings at all and it cost you nothing.
Twelve Five-Star
Reviews
Every one from a business owner who hired me, none paid for or prompted by a discount. The portfolio runs across construction, automotive, food, trade services, translation, and retail, with more than seventy-five sites built and fifteen-plus paying clients. Everything is live and clickable, so you can judge the work rather than the sales pitch.

Questions
Yes. OTM is based in Kyle, roughly fifteen minutes north of San Marcos on I-35, and San Marcos is part of the regular service area along with Buda, Wimberley, New Braunfels, and Austin. Work is done remotely, so an in-person meeting is not required, though being in the same county makes one easy to arrange when a business prefers it.
A flat $800, one time, for a custom hand-coded website you own outright. That is the same price regardless of city. There are no monthly platform fees and no subscription. The only ongoing cost is your domain name, roughly $10 to $15 a year, paid directly to a registrar. Hosting is free on Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages, set up in your own name.
Any business whose customers look them up before deciding. Here that includes contractors and home services working the residential growth along the corridor, auto shops, restaurants and bars competing for both student and resident traffic, outdoor and river-related businesses serving seasonal visitors, and professional services. Businesses serving Texas State students and visitors have a specific need, because that audience searches almost entirely on phones and leaves slow websites quickly.
No. Most projects run entirely through phone, email, or text, and I share a private preview link during the build so you can watch it come together. Being fifteen minutes away means an in-person conversation is possible when you prefer it, but it is never a requirement and it does not change the price.
Most sites are finished in two to five business days once we agree on scope. Larger multi-page builds can take up to two weeks. You get a realistic timeline before any work begins, and nothing goes live publicly until you approve it.
